This pendant is part of Rebecca's Blobby collection which explores various surface textures on recycled precious metals inspired by ancient hoards.
 
Reticulation is process which creates a textured surface resembling ridges, ripples and valleys. This controlled process requires use of a torch to bring the metal to a high temperature - close to melting, changing the metals suface to liquid silver whilst not melting the whole piece.
